Washing machine switches on, but cann't select a programe?

Hi, my Zanussi jet stream iz16 - powers up but won't let me do anything else - lights come on but can't select any programs or even run it on the selected program it's on!

Any help appreciated

Fixed it!

The power button had jammed - took off the panel and seated the rubber button back in place.
