Heat in the base of the fridge door. ?

Just inside the base of the fridge door it is really hot and it is heating up the insulating rubber. WE have had the fridge freezer for 13 years or so, and haven't noticed it before. Is this normal?

some do heat to stop condensation forming. It can also be a sign of overheating or struggling to maintain the temp.If it has a condensor cooling fan then this could of failed and cause heat to build up on cabinet.Lots of reasons for this issue
