Hi all, my laptop is just over a year old and is really noisy, like small hair dryer. I can feel air coming out the back but not a lot. I can hear the noise from the next room. It starts quiet after start then just kicks in - even when no programme running.

Also, I guess related, the underneath is really Hot. Too hot to put on my lap with jeans on!

I have heard that you can get cooling mats but really keen on keeping costs and additional noise down!
