I was copying from vcr to dvd, and it was a dvd I'd not used before,(double layer +) what happened U61 came up and no matter what you did it was stuck in a loop, enter and return made no difference just switched off, switch on and back again, any cue's as to what I can do?

I did as recomended by Panasonic and took it to an authorised repairer, apparently it is a RAM fault and the repair would be just short of £200, so the only real option was to look for another machine only of a different make, as to me there is a question mark over this model, as all I did was to try to record on to a DVD+, formatted, I will keep this open in case I ever make any further progress on this.
