Ryobi RLT30CET, nearly new, wont stop when stop switch operated, been back to main dealer,"sorted", now playing up again, & its dangerous.Have cleaned switch with electrical cleaner, no good.Its in everyday use so a quick fix would be good!

To stop any brush cutter it is just a mater of taking the ignition unit to earth, so a continuity test of the switch is the first step, if ok a continuity test of the wire from the unit to the switch, if ok a continuity test to the eart return wire if fitted, if it relys on the switch earthing in the body then make sure the switch is tight and making a good earth, last of all replace the ignition unit
