My diplomat dishwasher ADP8242 has stopped working with the first three lights flashing and the fifth one illuminated (not mentioned in the error codes in the manual). Tried restarting a few times but still after a few minutes a beep then it stopped and the above lights illuminated, any suggestions before i call an engineer.

We struggled to get the two outer lights to illuminate, we even doubted you at first, but hey, timing is everything, as you said!! The inner two nearest the programme button kept illuminating. We're up and washing again!

Turn off at the power button and leave for 10 seconds.
Turn on power button and press the program button 4 times
I found that you had to be very quick pressing the program button four times after powering up. You know you've hit it right when then two outer lights stay lit.
Then push the program button once.
Then power off (without closing the door).
Wait 15 seconds then power up and the reset should have taken place
