Bought Hoover used ac121 performa washing m/c. Works OK but makes a terrific racket when spinning. On solid foundation and level. Could it be bearings. nO NOISE WHEN WASHING CYCLE ETC

open the front drum door, place your hand inside at 12 o clock position, now push upwards, any wobble movement means bearings are shot this is a big job on any machine due to the fact they are one of the first thing fitted then every thing after is built around it so this lot has to be removed before the bearing replacement can even start to be attempted
