how can i fix my emachine laptop model #m622-uk8x?

it shut down and now when i turn it on it goes to the windows xp screen to start with normal service but then brings me back to the windows screen and thats all it does

When you first turn on the computer try hitting F11 to boot into System Recovery,Hope this works for you.
