how to set day on day date watch 1970s?

i have an old seiko watch it suppose to be automatic and the numbers on the back of the watch are 6106-5470 it is a day date watch and the stem only seem to come out 1 click, when you do that you can set the time and keep o going around till the right date comes up, but i cant seem to get the right day to come up and the day seems to have 2 languages, can someone help me grt the right day to appear in the window?

Try this. It works on a 1970 Bulova.
1. Pull out the crown.
2. Turn the crown counter-clockwise (hands move backwards)until you get the day before the current one ( if today is Sat, get Fri.) and stop at about 8:00 o'clock.
3. Rotate the crown clockwise until the date and the day advance 1 day (to Sat.)
4. Repeat 2 and 3 above until you get today's date and day (Sat). You are now just past midnight. Keep going clockwise to get the correct time.
5. Done
