how do i find out the generic grafix card on windows xp home??? where would that information be?

Right click on 'My Computer' icon on your desktop.

Left click 'Properties'. Left click 'Hardware' tab. Left Click 'Device Manager' Left click on '+' sign next to 'Display Adapters'.
