I have a Samsung ER5100?

The cash register frooze up when I push the no sale button while the P key was still in the Z mode. I have tried several things to un-freeze it but nothing. The machine does nothing but stay in the pp mode. I have unplugged it, unstopped a paper jametc. ,,Help

Hi George -

If the register has a 'PP' on the display, as you seem to indicate, it means there is some sort of problem with the printer. With the ribbon out, when you plug in the register, you should see the print head move back and forth a couple of times. If it does, that should clear the 'PP' error. If it doesn't, there is either something obstructing the mechanism (paper/ribbon jam, foreign object in the printer, etc.) or some kind of failure in the printer (motor failure, broken gear, etc.). If you've made certain there is nothing jamming the printer, the next best thing is to take it to a dealer to be looked at.
