I just bought an (Laptop)Emachine M622-UK8X,and I have done an System Recovery on it,thinking it would make it run faster,but it doesn't seem to help,I even redone the bios to the Default Settings,thinking that would help,everytime I install some programs on it,it seems to run really slow,or not respond like opening up programs,any ideas why this is happenning? and how can I fix it?

I don't know - the machine will be running at top speed but some application or process may well be eating system resources - you might like to use Task Manager to see where all the CPU cycles are going - a Free utility called Process Explorer does the same thing but with prettier pictures.

When this last happened to me I discovered that the generic process svchost.exe was using 98% + of CPU - waiting for something to happen that was not happening.

Find the culprit and take it from there...
