How to remove radio/cass from Ford Ka dash?

Hi, the radio panel has two pairs of holes into which a pair of standard 2-pin extractors appear to fit nicely. With these in place, the radio unit feels loose, but will not slide forwards. Is there something else that I need to undo before the radio unit can be extracted?

Push the extraction tools towards the doors and then just wiggle the radio and it should come out
