How can I fix my Philips Digi Box?

This has jammed on channel 305 Have pulled out plug etc comes back on same channel. All I can do is turn it off manually, remote not turning it off now. All was fine until I set this on 305 as my favourite channel.

Sounds like a problem with the remote. Change the batteries in your remote. Then go to the menu and do a rescan.
