my new slimline shower tray has a modern waste system which does not include a u bend traditional waste.

On suite is now smelling all the time from the soil pipe back through the waste system, cannot fit a u bend waste without having to take the shower tray back out, any advice or help would be appreciated, how are these modern waste trap suppose to work?

if it's smelling sounds like the water traps being pulled out.

when the smell happens check the trap is their still water in it ?

has the waste for the shower got anything else connected to it ie basin waste ?
