Have DynexModel No DX-OP7CC. Fiance put too much through it, including a plastic credit card attached to a letter. It seems stuck in the sense that it sits and whines and nothing happens. Tried reverse/forward to clean it out, and cleaned out all stuck stuff with an ice pick... have turned it upside down and engaged the safety and the blades don't turn ...even took it apart to see what is happening....am confused by the white plastic cam/gear....what position should it be in? Reassembled and had brief sucess with half a sheet ( still didn't sound right; made clunky sound )...now back where I started...whine...no gear turn.
