Diplomat ADP8322 dishwasher does not heat water?

Hi,I have a Diplomat ADP8322 dishwasher that does not heat the water.It goes right through any cycle that is set,but does not give any error codes.Wonder if its just the heating element thats gone,but cant understand why no error code.Any advice would be gratefully received.
