Hi Shirley,

Firstly I assume that you have applied paste liberally to the paper AND the ceiling (apply to ceiling just before you stick each piece of paper up).

If so, then your problem is putting filler in the gap between the paper. This should NOT be done. A couple of coats of paint will fill this gap.

A tip:
Try painting the seams with a brush first, letting it dry and THEN roller the entire ceiling.

Kind regards

It shouldn't bubble along the edges if you used enough adhesive. sounds like it wasn't the case (it happens very often). If I were you, I'd use Wallrock Fibreliner and crossline it. Before that, cut out all the bubbling bits and fill it in.

are you filling the gaps before the paper has dried out?? this can be 2 heavy for the paper, as a decorator if you only have a 2mm gap you would be better of just painting and not filling it, sounds like you may have 2 strip it and start again putting plenty of paste on paper edges
