How do I solve a problem with Xara Picasso cooling system?

The cooling system on my Citroen Xara Picasso 2.0 ltr HD is loosing coolant. There is no sign of any leaks in the system and no fluid in the engine oil. Sometimes the bleed cap at the top right of the pipework has blown off, or a replacement by a tyre valve cap has leaked, but with the correct cap and a new reservoir cap it doesn't appear to have made a lot of difference. A second bleed cap at the rear of the engine is present and correct.

Just to complete this item (sorry it has taken so long!) but it should be noted that the problem was in the cap for the reservoir. The original cap had lost the capacity for completely sealing the system. Replacing the cap it little cost, solved the problem. There was no evidence when inspecting the cap that it was the cause. After months of driving many miles, including towing a caravan, there has been no loss of coolant.

a friend of mine had the same problem turned out to be coolant hose had been rubbing/chaffing on the engine and caused a pin hole in the hose. hope this helps.

you could try putting car on ramps, start car until up to temp, and look for leaks, and check radiator, if nothing found then i would suspect coolant going into engine, as there is nowhere else for it to go.
