How do i make E-mail Scanner active. On overview e-mail scanner says component is not active. thanks janice

Double-click the AVG icon in the tray area.
Double-click the e-mail scanner.
On the bottom of the window, under Parameters...
Check "Analyse inbound messages"
You normaly don't need to check for outbound messages.
Check the last box so you get a notification popup during the scan.
Click "Save modifications"
