I think my valve inside tank is leaking?

I always have a steady stream of water running into the bowl, Do I need anew valve?
My toilet is a Mansfield model 160 have 2 of them the toilets are 3 years old.
It isn;t alot of water but being on a water meter it costs alot more with water running all the time.

too much is flowing in and runing into the over flow so reduce the water level in the cistern and it should stop.
Refering to standard inlet valves

Check the valve is shutting off as it could also be the washer has worn/split.
There should be adjustment on the float arm at inlet valve end.
