Thanks telebumm007, it worked.
One problem though is that I entered the code by pressing the '1,2,3 and 4' buttons then 'button 6' to confirm. After the beep, the radio worked. However , when I turn off the ignition and turned it on again, the code is again requested. I put the code in again each time and it works and has remembered the memorised stations. Obviously, the radio has a continuious power supply to work the memory. By the way, the unit is fitted in a different car[Octavia] which does not have a remote control. Any ideas?
