I Used Dell's Auto Flash Bios for my Inspiron 8100 and it killed it!?

I downloaded the Flash Bios upgrade for my Dell Inspiron 8100 and it killed my laptop! It was supposed to auto upgrade from the hard drive and now it does nothing. It is out of warranty and many have said I have to get a new mother board.

You could try taking the cmos battery out, wait 20 mins and then reinsert it, it hopefully will revert to default settings. Or if the Chip is removable on your model there are firms that say they can reserect it for you, try a search on the net for this.
