I have just unblocked my ensuite loo using this method. I bought a cheap vileda mop from tesco and put a plastic bag on the mop end and tied it with maskintg tape and did the same twice more with bags so the the bags all cover the mop end and the tape stops it falling off. Stuck the plastic bag end into the rancid brown water and did a few pumping actions and heard a loud sucking noise behing the shower which I assumed was the blockage going through the pipe and hey presto - toilet is back to normal!
