i can`t play my recorded dvds on another dvd player?

i have an LG DR725 dvd recorder it records and plays back no problem but if i have recorded an item for the kids etc i can`t get it to play on one of there players why ?

check to see what format your dvd recorder is dvd-or dvd+ if it does not match up with childrens you will have to finalise disc

Discs have to be finalised before they can be be played on other machines. Look for this option in your instruction manual...
