schreiber app 6403 freezer showing no signs of life?

Hi.
Its as if the fuse has gone,but it hasnt! none of the lights come on. Prior to it breaking the motor/fan was making some noise, but would this cause the whole freezer to die?

I have the same freezer and same problem..after I defrosted it.. no signs of life
