Fixing kettle?

light works but it is not heating up. How can I fix it?

Leaking where you say has nothing to do with the element. You can try to fix it with some glue or filler but it might be tricky to get watertight.

My kettle is licking water through the plastic window where the water meassure shows, can I open the kettle and fix that?

Buy new kettle - the element in your current kettle has gone open circuit and it can not be repaired.
