LOCKED MY COMPUTER n bios(ie comes up as soon as the unit is switched on)?

I called myself changing my password so my g/f couldn't get on my computer and i forgot what I changed it too. Can anybody help?

You could remove the cmos battery from the main board & reinstall it after a few hours, that should reset the bios.

you can use a program called killcmos which is easily found with google, it wipes the password, as long as you have a floppy drive.

You don't say what PC you have. Some PCs can be reset by setting a jumper to erase the password but they are all different. BTW if you have an IBM PC with a security chip, the only way is to unsolder the chip and replace it with a new one - very difficult with SMT components.
