engine missfire?

My engine is missfireing on cylinders 1and2.
3and 4 are perfect.
I have reset the timing. Changed the plugs. Checked the HT leads.Checked the coil, ditributor,and roter.
At one stage having put new plugs in 1/2 it seemed ok
according to the strobelight. Then by putting new plugs in 3/4... 1/2 stated to miss again?
