How do I replace the power cord on a Kenmore Progressive 11622612205?

Specs: Kenmore Progressive Model # 116.22612205
The power cord is broke at the plug end. I have three questions. 1.) How do I replace the power cord?
2.)Which part number is correct. Do I need to purchase the part which says "Conatct Disc Assy, Rings (Power Cord) 8192048" or do I just get the part that says "Cord Reel (Complete) 8192047".
3.) Is this one of those things you should let a pro do?
Thanks

1. You must remove the motor cover to get to the motor/ cord assembly.
2. Contact disc assembly includes the contacts and the cord, this is all that is necessary if you are only needing the cord itself.
3. Buying this will save you time and aggrevation, if you plan to do it yourself. It is the entire assembly, cord and all.
