i have a Indesit and it works like this with delay option not selected machines STARTS right away.
(the power supply to machine must be left on )
with the delay option switch/button pressed ONCE the led lights machine is delayed 2 hrs ,if the switch is pressed again the time increases to 4 hrs a third press gives 6hrs a fourth press 9 hrs, the next press turns the delay function OFF,
