heating wont come on worchester greenstar 42cdi?

tried to turn heating on but it wont fire up either on timed or constant the water is ok that comes on ok. if its any help the heating has been off all summer

cheers kash but its not got an external thermostat its all controlled from the front of the boiler via the switches

i would check the external thermostat that probably gone or stuck in an off position
