How can I fix the chime on my Ridgeway granddaughter clock?

Hi

I don't know the model of the clock-it's about 30 years old. The problem is that even when I put the toggle switch on "Chime", it doesn't always chime. On the hour, it may chime 10 times when it is 2:00. It keeps great time-it's the chime that's the problem.

allow the clock to strike on the hr,(count it ) whatever the clock STRIKES you now gently rotate the hr hand only round to this new position.
