toilet leaking?

i have replaced the rubber washer at the bottom of the sisten where the water leaves to go to the pan it still leaks but now only very slightly if i just touch the flush button to allow a little bit of water to flush this seams to seat the rubber washer and no water leakes into the pan the washer is about 2 inches in diamater white in colour

I assume its the doughnut washer thick one between pan and cistern [close coupled toilet] try tighten the cistern securing bolts but don't over do it you might crack the pan where bolts go through. Hand tighten don't use a wrench.

try and see if you can lengthen the link chain to the flap washer by at least a link its set to fine, there should be some SLACK in the linkage chain
