the lights on my John Deere lawn tractor Model LT155 stopped working?

My lights were working fine the last time I used the lawn tractor. When I started the tractor this time to mow with the front lights would not work. Checked all wiring - all okay. Are the bulbs wired in series? Dealer told me there are no fuses and the connector used to wire them to the main wiring is no longer available so you would have to hand wire the in. I have not done any voltage testing.

you will need a multimeter set it on volts take bulb from holder and check that your getting twelve or 24 volts to the bulb holder,if you are, then put meter on the resistance scale(ohms) check bulbs,if they ok then check the switch,it has to be one of these things,(if there is no fuse box, very unusal)
