Mira 8 shower knob not turning on smoothly?

Replaced the temp control inner knob as old one broken, but now seems not to turn on and sometimes will not turn off, possibly unrelated to the temp knob. Can get it to work but struggle each time to get the pressure right and temperature. Any ideas?

Sounds like you need to strip and service the inner valve, try National shower spares for help.
