The engine must be supported and subframe removed. Common problem if not used to working on autos is not undoing the torque converter/drive plate nuts. The converter can then be pushed slightly further into the box and removed together. There is also a small earth lead to the top front nearside of the casing that can be overlooked. When removing subframe undo steering rack and tie it up as the shaft can fall apart. Tie up the rad as well.
