Hi,

I have a zanussi ZWD12270W washer dryer. It has an intermittent fault where part way through the cycle, it will stop and re-set itself to the beginning and just sit there. It is generally around the point in the cycle when it should draining/spinning. When you then try to do a separate spin, it will lock the door and then unlock immediately after. This also happens when trying to get it to do the cycle again. However it does not always have this fault and will do a full cycle or spin quite happily sometimes. I'm pretty sure the plumbing is ok and I have checked the filter and the pressure sensor but this hasn't fixed the problem. Any help/advice would be appreciated!

How do u disconnect the dryer as I have the same problem and have tried everything else.

Thanks for the info, I found out if you disconnect the dryer elements the washer works fine (fingers crossed), we dont really use the dryer, ironic i know, so its not missed.

motor or heater insulations needs checking.anything around 10meg is boarderline failure/program reset point
