Hi,

I have a Coldseal Talon 22mm Espagnolette with 4 hooks (not mushrooms). its 800mm long and the square gearing that the handle fits nto is broken so the handle no longer turns the Espagnolette mechanism.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

The Coldseal Tallon is long since obsolete however upvcspares4repairs.co.uk have a ready made replacement with only a little work and even the novice DIY person can do this at a fraction of the cost of a locksmith.

Hi there. I too have a broken Tallon 22mm and have hunted high and low for a replacement gearbox (the bit that's broken). Everybody I have been to has said that I will have to replace the whole mechanism (including the bit on the frame that the cams lock into) with a mushroom cam set up. I looks reasonably easy to do but is a pain that you cannot just change the broken bit! :-(
