i bought a virgin media v+ hd box of ebay . when i replaced it with my current box it comes up with the wrong smart card . so i ring virgin and they said they said cant do anything because the person shouldn't of sold it . the question is how do i get it work or do i sell it on .

you can't use it, you can't sell it (it's stolen goods plus it doesn't work so you are selling faulty and stolen goods)
