Where is the idle air control valve on an omega automatic?

I have a 2.0 litre vauxhall omega automatic and when waiting at traffic lights etc, the engine revs up and then will sometimes cut out. I have been told it is the idle air control valve and that cleaning it may help the problem but I don't know where it is situated and how to get it off. Can you help?
