zanussi essential 16000 6kg?

my washing is getting covered in grey slugdge and black marks. i have cleaned the door rubber and it is actually worse. Any ideas as I can;t find the instructions and wondered if it was blocked filters.

if you don't do the boil maintenance washes (high temp) then this is what happens.It's very hard to sort without total strip down and clean/rebuild but you could try the above and see what happens
