I turn on my PC and it just freezes, it just says press F12 boot menu or DEL for Setup. Keyboard lights flash once only and then the keyboard stops working, have swapped for a new keyboard, same thing

After rebooting 10 times it starts to work.

PC is an Acer Aspire M3640. CPU Q660 Intel

Had exactly the same problem, removed the ps2 keyboard connections and it boots.
No idea why - keybd works fine in other computers.
