lockdown keeps happening. got a guy in. he said we need to have this inhibitor added to the system as it is black inside the pump and he wants to charge us 195 for time and £40 for the inhibitor. is he genuine

if the locdown keeps happening and the thermostat light goes to red if you press reset does the boiler fire up againstraight away if yes then the fault lies away from your boiler which may well be the pump not circulating properly causing the boiler to overheat however these boilers arer notorious for the circuit board being at fault if it goes to red and wont light again it may well be the pcb
