Yes I know Steve ,the seal where the element fits had perished , this has been replaced, it needs to be topped up with a small air gap for expansion. So what type of oil do I use and where do I get it ?

its not just a question of filling it up and sticking the element back in. the oil level is very precise as is the procedure for topping up,no job for an amateur.if youv`e lost oil why? better off taking it to an expert
