My camera is exactly the same, i have bought and dumped more batteries than enough, convincing myself they are all duds, even rechargables, cannot believe its the camera i have hardly used it!! any ideas

sorry I have no answer. Mine does exactly the same also my sisters, they are only 2 years old and hardly used, wont buy another samsung for sure.
