LG WM1832CW is giving LE (motor overload) code, only spinning a few times?

My LG washer is giving a LE (motor overload) code and making a funny noise, then spins a few times and stops and starts beeping again. Already tried unplugging it and it isn't working. Could it be the motor or the bearings?

please have some knowledge of the appliance when answering. the lg is a direct drive BRUSHLESS motor. more than likely it is the stator assembley which is faiarly easy to diagnose and replace if you are some what mechanically inclined. the bad part is the actual price of the part around 160us the repairman will charge you 350 to500 us for the job. do it yourself save some cash all it takes is a little research to find the repair manual for free

I would say it is the motor brushes (not bushes) that have worn out. Easy to replace, and buy them (2 of them) off ebay or your local domestic appliance shop.
