Currently using a Gateway computer -6 gig hard drive.
Wish to upgrade to different more up to date model. How do I transfer files and data frommy old computer to new model

Easiest is to add it to a cd or dvd. You can get nearly all your old hard drive content to a dvd and the dvd writers are becoming very cheap now.
