How do I stop my machine overfilling?

I have a simpson aquapulse 513 5kg heavy duty washing machine and lately it has been overfilling and flooding my laundry. How do I stop this from happening? It doesn't do it all the time, sometimes on the initial fill or sometimes on the deep rinse cycle, how do I fix this!!

If it's intermittent then its probably a stcking solenoid at the water inlet (where the hose connects). when it next sticks hit that part to test. SAFETY FIRST_PULL OUT THE POWER PLUG BEFORE ATTEMPTING REPAIRS! -remove and lubricate the solenoid if possible. Still keeps doing it, change the solenoid valve.-If you don't feel competent call in a service technician or electrician.-DO NOT HARM YOURSELF
