Hello, I have a Sony RDR-HXD860 hard disc recorder. For the last few days when I've tried to record programmes, it just selects record and pause then freezes, and doesn't actually start recording. I've re-done the machine's basic setup and even a factory reset to try to solve the problem but it hasn't worked. Does anyone know what might be wrong? The machine is 4 years old but you'd expect Sony to last a bit longer than that.
